Annual Membership

Blue Earth Project is a volunteer-run organization. In order to create an eco-driven culture in which there’s a paradigm shift towards a more regenerative and resilient future, we need your help.

By becoming a member of the Blue Earth Project, you will be joining a group of like-minded individuals, focused on ecological resilience globally, and even more specifically, Southern Minnesota. Upon joining, you will be invited to our private Facebook group where you can share and discuss with your neighbors.

 

Tree Planting

Each year we plant trees to honor our sustaining members. Depending on your level of membership, we will plant between 1-4 trees in your name. Planting trees is the best way to offset your footprint while regenerating and beautifying your local habitats.

Deforestation is responsible for about 11% of climate change. Protecting forests and prairies are a critical solution. Planting trees, prairie grasses, and other natural vegetation helps absorb carbon dioxide, improves air and soil quality, preserves biodiversity, improves habitats and creates jobs.

If you’re not quite ready to become a member yet, you can still support our mission by purchasing a tree or planting project such as a rain garden, separately.

Refund Policy

If the returned item is missing any parts, or is damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging by buyer, the amount of loss will be deducted, giving the buyer only a partial refund. Required condition standards are listed below.

Items can be returned within 30 days of receipt of delivery. Once the item is received back to us, it will take 2 business days for the refund to be processed and 7-10 business days for the refund amount to show up in your account. 


Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

If you need to return an item, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, and it must include all items that were in the original package. Your return label will require you to return the item at your own expense.

When you order from a hosted vendor, your return is sent back to the seller instead of Blue Earth Project. While most sellers offer a return policy equivalent to ours, some seller return policies may vary. If the seller does not provide a return policy, our policy will be the default. 


Required Condition Standard:

  • Unused, unaltered, with no damage or signs of use.
  • Item(s) cannot appear washed or used
  • Item(s) cannot be altered in any way
  • Item(s) cannot be stained (dirt, makeup, food, etc.)
  • All parts must be intact
  • Must be returned with original product packaging: boxes, bags or any items used to wrap and protect the item
  • Must include all items that were included in the original package, such as free gifts or bonus items.
  • Items must have original tags, labels, and/or any accompanying materials that were originally included.


Why does Blue Earth Project have this policy?

By eliminating the uncertainty of what's acceptable to return and what isn't through return guidelines, we create a more consistent experience for both the buyer and the seller.
